Greetings from a newbie to photography!

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Nikon D5100 (18-55mm lens) and it is the first DSLR that I have used.
It is a lot more complicated than I thought and I'm hoping to meet new people and to improve my photography skills.

I also enjoy traveling and hope to do some backpacking in the future; and am interested in arts and crafts and I have many other hobbies as well.
