The lighting and subject really make this an interesting shot well done.. Hands down the color version for me. It shows off the wonderful details in clothing and tattoos better than the B&W. Secondly the 3/4 pose displays better dimension to the body and muscle of the subject.
Wonderfully done! I like both of them, the B&W for the atmosphere, could be a character from a dystopian novel, and the color, because it shows off the details of the tats and dreads. So, the knives you've posted, are those your handiwork? You might have said elsewhere and I missed it.
Thanks for the comments, advice is always welcome, here's the colour version of the front pose, I took it in front of a workshop in daylight but wanted a black background so was tricky finding the balance without losing him too much.
