HELP!!

I have a sony A330. My mode dial is at auto, however, it reflects as personal auto which was the P symbol. What is wrong with the camera?

Do yourself a favor and learn to use at the very least Aperture or Shutter priority.

Is OP stating that his knob is showing the wrong selection ?
I'm not familiar at all with the A330

Agreed, learn how you use the camera In Manual mode, Aperture priority mode and Shutter mode.
It will take you to the next level
