What type of film is best to use with a Holga? I haven't actually used it yet and was wondering what some of the Holga users here have put through the camera. Both color and black&white. Has anyone put any color slide stuff like Velvia through it? Thanks.

I would answer here, but I answered in the pasted thread above, and nothing's changed.

Start shooting that thing! Don't forget the black tape! :D

I've used all sorts of 120 film from Big Yellow's color Portra to Ilford B&W.

Whatever your local film store has in their "expired 120 rollfilm" pile :) Seriously.

If you want your pictures to look like the slick marketing photos ('contrasty super-saturated' funky-coloured!') on 'lomography.com' buy slidefilm and ask the lab to cross process it in C-41 chemistry.
