How old were you when you got your first SLR camera

bought and used my first SLR around 20 I think .. first digital camera was 14 years later.

Been using cameras since 7ish though. started with a small camera and a handheld lightmeter

Before that it was disposables that I never took seriously and the odd use of a polariod - again mostly just happy snaps with limited interest.
edit - oh there was a little digi cam somewhere in that past too - though it hardly ever got used (again it was just not powerful enough for me )

I got my first camera at 7 years old but my first SLR at 21. It was a Pentax PZ-20 and it's sitting in my closet collecting dust now.

aye, this is my first camera ever. Until now, I just borrowed other people's P&S camera. Never got a chance to use an SLR either. That's why my photos kinda suck. I need more practice
