How old were you when you got your first SLR camera

Got my first camera at 13. Got my first SLR, just after I turned 16. I am still 16 now!

unofficially, when i was 11, but the slr wasn't mine. It was my dad. I would fool around w/ it every now and then, but nothing solid happened with it.

I got my own digital slr 2 weeks ago LOL. and boy am i loving it.

i've had all other general p & s cameras around my whole life though.

Man, you guys are making me feel old. First SLR was a Pentax I got from my sister in 85 or 86 when I was 18 or 19. Got my first DSLR this year at 41.

I got my very own SLR camera at the age of 20, and I'm 20 now. Its a Canon AE-1 Program. I got it like 2 months ago and absolutely love it.

My first SLR was a Pentax, I was 17, the year was 1975.
My first dSLR was a Nikon, I was 49, the year was 2007.


Yes, I remember the first moon walk in 69, can even remember Dallas in 63............ but last week is a mystery.
