How to avoid being noticed in photos and appear blur?

I do not like to have my photo taken. Sometimes there are group photos and I have no choice and would need to be inside the photo. May I know how should I stand, what angle, where in the group so that I will appear small/blur/not noticable? I thought of standing at the sides at the backrow so my head would appear smaller? Any tips?

Shake your head violently back and forth. Like you're having some sort of spasm. Your friends might think you're weird but chances are your face will be a blur in the pics!!! Win win.

Sasquatches are great at appearing blurry in photos. I would find one and see if he will teach you how to be blurry in every photograph.

A plastic bag over your head would probably blur your face to some extent (depends on the bag though).

I think the easier option would be to just move out of the field of view of the camera entirely.

Personally, I find that after about four cups of Cuban expresso, my body starts a vibration that makes talking difficult and picture taking impossible. Another option is to find out where the group images will be taken, and then dress in the same tone and color as the background - instant camo!

You know, I kinda like the plastic bag idea - formal group portrait, one guy with a bag on his head. How cool would that be.

A paper bag with a face drawn on it would probably be funnier, but it would be harder to carry every day for those unexpected situations where somebody wants to take your picture.


So, paper bag for the comedy approach - plastic bag for the more somber "is that guy trying to kill himself?" approach.

But if you replace the plastic bag by, say, a nylon sock, you can still breathe, see out, and have your features sufficiently mashed that you won't be readily recognizable. Unless that IS your normal appearance.
