to most of you this is a whine, whine, whine but I live in NW FLorida and there shouldn't be snow or ice flurries but this morning in 25, wind chill factor of 14 I had exactly that...this is what you see when real cold meets not as cold...out my back door and I live in a Motor Home so it's just brutally cold.

I almost feel sorry for you. And then I remember all the gorgeous birds and wildlife you photograph and share.

Do you think that this might be related to the "climate change" that Mr. Trump doesn't believe in? When was it last that cold in your corner of the world? The irony of this is that Alaska has just had its warmest December on record.

It's all relative and what you are used to 25°F, hmmmm, that's only about -4°C. In my part of the world, southern Alberta, that's mild for this time of year. We just got through a couple of days of temps around -25°C, so that's -13°F, ya, I guess that would be cold for you folks too. We saw the item on our local news where the iguanas were falling out of trees in Florida because it was so cold that their bodies became inactive and they were unable to hold on to a perch. Crazy weather. For us, the worst has yet to come as February is usually our coldest month of the year.

Well BD, I hope things warm up for you. Throw on another sweater and turn the heat up a notch.
