If you start as beginner then u get nikon D90 AF 18-105 lens, easy to operate. if you shoot outdoor no requirement of extra flash. if u shoot indoor then your requirement of flash as per your location. Basically you use sb900 flash any formal requirements.

I am not exactly disagreeing with your assessment, just trying to point out that we could still help others that view it by keeping it on topic atleast.
