I noticed her shooting something & shot her.

What appeared @ first glance to be something on the rocks was actually in the rocks. Here is her shot:

Looks like it was cracked open by a fall. Those round white things were formed when the magma cooled down. Could be trapped gases.

Methinks these are sedimentary rocks. Casual observation would easily think the white "circles" were lichen on the rocks. We found many more examples along this stream.
