The expression in 6 is good, she's got that slightly "looking through the eyelashes" pose. They're all good IMHO and I like the white background - probably a personal taste thing.
Keep posting so we can judge how well you are progressing with helping her develop her modeling skills. *cough cough*

I agree with some of the other comments.. her expression is too constant! She should smile more.. it is allowed, after all. Don't let her get stuck in that fashion semi-bitchy look rut, lol!

The white backgrounds (#1, for instance) needs soft shadows.. for presence, or grounding as Mully put it. Otherwise she is floating...

It's just time to learn to work the model. some girls are movers. some are posers. some are putty in your hand. some are actors. and some are shy / non expressive.

the trick is to learn to take a non expressive model and lead her to be one of the above for you. Get her dancing, moving, doing something. get her acting. making faces, acting out scenes. get her striking poses, and projecting something in her expression. septicism. i know secret. how dare you! huh? you better back up! c'mere. OUCH. any of those or more.

You'll get there... this is just the next step.

Thank you all. We are just settling into the studio time and to each other. she is becoming more comfortable, as am I.
It's funny, we do do moving shots, dancing, spinning, but I always seem to catch her with a strange look on her face, just be fore she smiles, or with goofy looks etc. We will work on it, promise.

For the background, it is a little necessity. as i am using a fabric background, it doesn't take NOT lighting very well. It's better to blow it as much as I can and PP the rest. I aim to install a wall/curve/floor at some point soon so it will be smooth. I think that will open up a few more lighting options where I won't need PP hardly at all. Hope so, anyway.

While everyone loves lingerie, and #6 is hot, I still think #5 is the best shot from the session.

Spot on. Number 5 is the only photo where her facial expression goes hand in hand with the pose, which makes it work – and the clear winner of the set. Number 3 would be a distant second in this regard. She is damn hot, but #6 doesn't look hot because her facial expression is saying "is this how you want me to open the jacket" instead of "do you mind if I make myself more comfortable?".

Great set regardless.
