What does the SOOC version of this look like?

The new ones you posted look really nice. I'm too tired to do individual CC.

Nice set Bonnie. I like them all but to me the crop on #2 just doesn't seem right. I think what I'm struggling with it most is that the hand is missing from the arm, if her hand had been on her left knee or shown across the bottom of the image, maybe?

Yes, that last image posted is the SOOC of the shot to show you what I had to "work with" from what I did in camera.. lol I have some that got her full full body in that I don't have to crop weird but I think that one I cropped was my fav expression. Definitely open to crop suggestions!!

I saw that one after I posted my comments. I'm not sure that I would be of much help but I cropped it here and I have a lot less tension with the ankle than I did with the arm.

These are all great pics. I think the platinum thing is hot as she's so pale. Just a personal thing of mine is, contrast. I mean in subject. Maybe darker background would really make her POP. Over all these look good to me

Yeah, that "glow" I was talking about, was not coming from the lighting. It was coming from your processing. The SOOC image looks normal to me.

I think smoothing with that clarity brush is what's killing you.

Ideally, you'd use Photoshop, not Lightroom to skin smooth.

But if you're going to use LR, using the clarity brush, *extremely* light-handedly would be the solution. I think it was just applied too heavilly.

I mean, if you like it, you like it, and there's no issue. That was just part of my critique that she looked like she had an unnatural glow from the smoothing... but not like a radiant glow... more like a radioactive glow, haha. It just looks fake to me, but ultimately you get to decide how it looks.

Overall, I still think you did a really great job with these. You're only going to get better if you keep at this the way you are. I'm impressed. :sillysmi:
