This is one of my first macro shots and I was wanting some input on what can be improved. I am very new to photography and all your advice helps

Overexposed/Blown out areas

Oversaturated

Entire image is not very sharp

It looks weird having the print upside down....you should have spun it about 90 degrees and shot from the other side

You cut off the edge of the can....not enough to make it look purposeful, just enough to make it look like a mistake (whether it was or not)

General subject is just not that interesting...maybe in a different/odd context, but just laying on the ground....not really very appealing in my opinion....nothing that just grabs me.

To be honest im not sure, which I know gives no help, nor does it help on what i can improve on. I took this with the kit lense in auto mode - thats about all i could tell you. I am still learning on this camera as i dont know a whole lot about it right now
