Majoring in Anthropology???

Into to psych is generally taken no matter your major. Most soc electives are very similar if not duplicates of psch electives also.

What I find.. curious.. is that sociology is overlooked in high schools and as a required elective (soc 101) in college for any major. To me, its one of the most important subjects for human understanding. It goes beyond understanding the individual. I guess because I know the subject so well I feel it is so important... I get baffled by how little people seem to know about human behavior as a whole. I think looking at the big picture is just as important as the little picture. Anyways. I didn't come back to this thread to argue... good for you, ccauceg for pursuing a higher degree

Alpha, just curious (and I'm not trying to hijack the thread with this question), what you make of studying Music or having Music as a major. Is still a Liberal Art, as I remember...
