Ahh... A subject close to my heart. I think that you are on the right path here. This shot illustrates that you are not a smoker. Which is good. Keep it that way.

If you were going for harsh light you hit it. The composition seems a little "snapshotish". Check out Irving Penn. He did some amazing work with found cigarettes and cigars.
