What lovely colours they are!
And they are "Christmas flowers", quite clearly that? Never heard of that before (but lucky you: you HAVE flowers at this time of the year --- not only all that dead grey-ness we have here now).
How large is one of the little "bulbs" in real life?
Is it sun light from the side?

Thank you LaFoto. Yes, they are the small flowers inside the red leaves of tradittional Chistmas flowers. They actually flower on this time of the year. I'll try and take a shot of the shrub later.
The bulbs are around 2 mm wide and yes, I put the flower pot near a window where the sun was shining.
