My first attempt at messing with shutter speed... I know, I know, the cliche waterfall.. :)

No tripod, I'm guessing that is why it doesn't look too sharp?

Had a hard time shooting long exposures without overexposing - tips?? Is there a filter for this? Lens hood? Remember, I'm a newbie, haha!

Fixed exposure in photoshop - and upped saturation slightly.

Neutral density filter. It allow you to use larger apertures and slower shutter speeds in broad daylight.

Or you could close your aperture down as far as it will go and put your ISO at the lowest setting. But the smaller aperture will degrade quality.

I would say it's darn sharp for a hand-held 1sec. capture! Not only will some NDs help, but a sturdy tripod as well.

What is the exposure bias in the metadata?? Is that the exposure compensation that I used on the camera?
