Minimalistic Chickadees

[PixelRabbit]

I was shooting these guys from above and quite like how the snowy ground gave them a very minimalistic look in the black and white.

Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for taking a look!

I really love both but the first one is my favorite. I would have that up on a canvas on my wall in a heartbeat.

very interesting!

Thanks Barb and Bryan!

[Derrel]

Pretty cool stuff. I like the first one quite a bit.

That unusual angle makes for a very interesting photo, the first one is my favorite too.

[Desi]

These are really cool. Love the sweep of the feathers. Almost look like they are dive-bombing

[tirediron]

Great shots!

[LakeFX]

Very cool shots!

Thanks so much all!
Desi you are actually spot on, they are diving off a branch that is about 5ft below my eye level

[EOV]

Wow they look like paintings!

[pgriz]

Both are very good, but the first is almost Zen. I see a square crop (on the first), with the bird occupying the upper right power point. Beautiful shading of the snow.

[PixelRabbit]

THanks EOV I often strive for that look and glad it translates well here!

ThanksPaul, great suggestion! I fiddled a lot with their position and I like the idea of a square crop
