Went to a rookery I like to visit during the late spring and summer months this past weekend. Things seem too be a month or so behind from last year. still no chicks in the nest and some were still even building nests.
1)RWBB in morning light
2)Cattle Egret flight with a stick for its nest
3)it was somewhat windy and the great whites were doing some air acrobatics
4)a few still trying to attract a mate
5)Light was harsh, here is a tricolored in flight
6)wish I could have got a better photo of the night heron in flight.
