Very nice picture. She's very pretty - beautiful, unique eye color and very nice smile. I'm trying to stop over processing my portraits - as a noob, it gets addictive! I would love to see the SOOC as a point of reference.

So my statement holds true, since you said straight out of the camera was not horrible and both of your edits are horrible thus the straight out of the camera is better than both of your edits. Like I said.

I'm still learning what is too much when it comes to retouching people. We all start somewhere

You're a sub-par photographer who carries himself around here like some bitter, seasoned vet. Your passive aggressive, opinionated posts are inflammatory, yet fly below the radar because they are usually subtle enough to do so.
You've provided 0 constructive criticism in this thread, and used demeaning terms in the process. Then when called out for it, you attempt to insult my intelligence and play coy.
You talk like you have experience in the things you talk about, when you don't.
Fact is, looking at your recent C+C threads, you've not come across this type of crappy commentary in the threads you request critiques, so you really don't have much of an excuse.

It doesn't take an expert to know that if the edits are not good, then they aren't improving the picture. If you want to help, help! And treat other members in the forum with the respect you have received.
Otherwise, you're just putting people down.

Actually, I didn't talk about how much of a "richard" you are in threads where you critique others. I spoke about how you haven't had to deal with the type of garbage you put out.
All the evidence I need for a good argument against you is right here in this thread. Not to mention, you've given your opinion in a thread of mine, so this isn't our first interaction.

It's not about winning or losing. You've made it evident that being right is what's important to you, but that's not what this is about.
It's not about defending the OP, but all future OP's that you plan on critiquing. It's about you, Parker, not anyone else.
You really need to identify what your purpose of coming into threads like these are. If it's just to say "You're making the photo worse with your horrible edits",
give that real thought who that benefits, because it isn't the OP.
