My 1st Shoot...need advice thx

Well, I happen to know one thing: should anyone ever look up the full exif data coming with my new camera (bought used), the data will say the photos were actually taken by someone else (name of previous owner) - and I don't know AT ALL how to get that to change so the camera would now run under my own name?!?

Even though it will state the correct brand name and serial number...!?

Step away from the editing program.
You have some basically decent images that you have torn up in editing.

This is a good advice, Henry. Before you will run, you should learn how to walk. I know this all is very tempting, but I've seen it; guys frustrated and walking away from photography. P&S camera is not the best tool to learn for a beginner, but can teach you basic handling and composition. Starting with horizon. Crooked works sometimes, mostly not. I think you should get into habit of controlling it right there in the camera. Similar thing with compo. Get to your subject as close, or as far as dictates your visualization so the cropping later is kept to the minimum. Choose your background carefully so it is supporting, not distracting. Always pay attention to the light, especially if someone is posing for you. Not every conditions are optimal. The list can go on. Here are guys smarter then me, especially in digital photography, they will help. If you think you have interesting shot, post it here, unedited and you will get opinions and proper advice. Good luck to you and I hope we will see more of you here.

What is your camera? It's pretty simple in your menu's. Canon will say Copyright Information and you can change everything.

wow thx for the advice ...but i have a problem here ...my camera data is not same with the brand ...confusing me thx to MLeek who found it...but for the advice it was really nice advice and make me want to shot more and more...anyway this thread will be delete soon ...thx again

Dont you have to format your memory card to your camera for all the correct information to be there? If im not mistaken, I formatted my cards to my Nikon but in another camera (I think HP?) it still said it was a D80.

Dont really remember but see if you can go through your menu on your camera and find a "Format Memory Card" option

Aaron thx so much makes me more better....but the truth is 2 of their employees making fake camera they didn't tell me how to make it but their sorry to me and change my camera with the new one , they said they just know after 2 people complain with same problem and their serial number rejcted by fuji , the shop owner said to me thx god only 3 cams , but to bad she not taking them to police , she just fired and ask them to pay all camera they sold to us. well ....horayyy to me and Thx Mleek ...if you not checking my exif data , i'll never know

Apparently he's not the only one who has suffered this issue before.

That's a little different - they used a film camera, scanned and uploaded to a cd. There is no EXIF embedded to begin with. The OP, on the other hand is using a digital camera......

i just send an email to admin to delete it and told them what happened ... why this happened to me...omg... MLeek i hope you want to trust me

Calm down. This could easily be remedied by you taking a photo of yourself with the camera in a mirror whilst also holding up your forum name. If the camera is a Fuji and the exif says Sony, there's an issue with your camera big time. This should be really easy for you to do.

well its ok ..i got new one this morning ... they just replace to me with the new one
