need help on used value

I am inthe process of buying an acratech ultimate ball head and manfrotto tripod 3021b pro used but not really sure how much they are worth. Considering they are in good to great condition is 275 a good price for the combo?

I am new to this arena and dont know what value used equipment of this type holds or if I should just buy it new. Any input would be greatly appreicated.

I think what you can do is check on ebay price (complete listing) and see how much they are sold for.

I did a quick search, the tripod with head usually around $100 sold.

And the acratech ultimate ball head range from low $100 to low $200.
