NEED SERIOUS ADVICE ON IMAGE SENSOR

You know I kind of like this new version of my D90. Its a shame it will have to fixed. Does anyone have any idea what would have caused the camera to bug out? I reset all the settings and it still shoots as if its thermal imagining camera. It must be the hardware or something.

what's with all the hate on celine?? she has the voice of an angel :bigangel:

screw all you haters :irked:

I'm on a mobile device. I copy and pasted the image URL, and got a 404 not found.
Get a real computer.

OP, Your **** is probably toast. Has anything out of the norm happened to it lately? Did it get dropped or something?

Kinda trippy, but even then - it would suck if that's all it did...

Would heat have caused damage? I was in Arizona just a week ago, and my camera did sit in the car a number of times out in the desert. It must have been 45-50 C in the car at the end of the day. Maybe the heat melted something?

I guess it's possible. This would be the first time I've heard of it happening, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Is it still under warranty?

Even if it's not - the repair will be cheaper than a new camera. Give Nikon a call and see what they say.

Oh, hell no, don't get it fixed! Buy a new one and keep that one just the way it is!

It's probably the only picture the OP ever posted here that was actually good!

All of you guys have got it wrong, Bryan Adams is the worst thing to ever come out of the 51st state. He makes Celine Dion look almost talented. Of course, some might argue that's a talent in it's own right.

Was it taken on 4/20, that would explain alot.

Hmmmm could it just be corrupted software - a reinstall of the firmwire would probably lift the problem - that or try a new memory card (card itself might be corrupted)

That or keep it all as it is as a really arty fancy camera! :P

Looks like an average photo produced by a Nikon Camera.

Just kidding... Anyways. I'm sorry about your image sensor. I hope it's not too big of a deal and that it gets fixed swiftly. I was going to suggest reinstalling the firmware, but Overread beat me to it. That would be my best guess for a course of action you should take.
