New Red Lip Stain and Winter Coat.

The girlfriend picked up some new lip stain/coat and wanted to show it off in some photos.




What do you guys think?

Shadows pushed down a hair too far, I think. You're losing stuff down in the dark for a real "fashion style" shot, where the clothes are king, which seems to be what you're shooting for.

I think a hair light on her head would give this a trifle more pop.

Thank you for the help. My next purchase will be a second light to use as a hair light, back light, beauty light. . . .

I wonder if you could set up a reflector to act as a hair light?

Thank you! I am still learning on how to pose people and looking for a good book to help out. The latest issue of Vogue is over 900 pages so Ive been thumbing through that for help but having someone who has no idea on how to pose her self makes it even more difficult haha. I feel like we are both stumbling a long at times.
