New to all of this.

I recently started toying around with the Nikon D3100 I bought my wife in April, much to her dismay, I haven't put the thing down in a couple of weeks. I have no aspirations of being a professional photographer, but I do want people to like the pictures I take. Just saying "Hi" before I get into posting my noob questions.
