New Toy test

After cussing and discussing and debating and planning and thoughts that I had decided what direction I was going to go, I finally pulled the trigger Tuesday evening.

For my needs with sports, I decided that the Canon 7D mk II would be my best choice at this time. And my timing was now to get used to the AF and all the extra's that my old 7D doesn't have before football season starts.

So I have a new toy and a back up that I can use for wide angle at the games. I'm excited to run it through it's paces.

Here's a macro that I did on Tuesday evening after I got it. It's not a prize winner, but I am happy with the results from a new camera body that I haven't even read the manual.

NOTE: If you need me, I'm over here reading the manual and watching set up videos.

Thanks manny. I'm working on it. (Atleast a lot of the "how to" take a photo with it are similar to my old 7D.)
