Hello! Thought I would post a few from a newborn boy shoot that I did recently.

#2: I wish I knew a way to lighten the shadow under his chin. I feel it is distracting. But maybe not?

Would you mind expanding on that.. I'm not sure I understand your criticism.

#1 is the typical toes shot lots of mother want. Composition wise I don't like that the toes are centered. #2 is horribly out of focus. That's one for the trash bin. #3 Very static and some of the fingers are out of focus. The black and white conversion is very dull. Go back to color with this one.

I think if you turn the 2nd one the other way it would look better and brighten the eyes. Its nice and soft which I like.. not a fan of the last maybe if the hand was with the mothers... just looks a little odd.

Se reason I'm drawn to the first two. I love the contrast! And I love the cropping on the second one. I can't elaborate why but it's something different and it works. Not fond of the second one... Maybe some cropping would be better? I really like the imperfections in the yarn too.
