Looks like a reporters camera. Nothing to do with amateurs or portrait photogs. 20 Mp is squarely aimed at professionals, who do not need to crop the living hell out of their images. I would expect top low light/high ISO performance and excellent tracking.

Exactly and lets face it even 20MP gives you plenty of cropping if you need to.
Today when we have 36MP and 50MP sensors it feels like 20MP is tiny but it really isnt, its a lot of resolution.
I know of wedding pro's still using the D700 with 12MP and thats plenty for them.
Give me better High ISO performance over more MP!
