well my baby is growing into a fine young lady.had a great time doing pictures all over the place today.

It looks like you had fun.

In the first, it looks like the ring is the subject, but it's hard to see because it's so small. I think it would help to have a much closer crop. Also, it would be nice if the ring had been in the light and not in the shadows. Maybe try lightening the hand and darkening her face?

The 2nd looks like it could have used some fill light. You caught a great expression though.

Fun images indeed! A couple of thoughts for future improvement: Try and avoid "football shoulders" especially with female subjects; turn the torso 15-30 degrees off of lens-axis and bring the head back. Your second image has captured a great expression, but unfortunately the strong backlighting from the window was not your friend, and a bit of fill flash, even your built-in pop-up would have added some more light here and really improved this image.
