hi everyone as you know i am not a photographer. i came across this lens at work and would like to get more information on it. if someone can tell me where to go get more info that would be awesome! also like where i can maybe even sell it. like i said not a photographer sorry for the low quality photos.
It appears to be an older (60s-70s era) cine (movie-camera) lens. Note the geared rack for follow-focus. Probably very expensive when new, but now likely more useful as a paperweight.
I've searched Cooke Cine Varotal 25-250 and found multiple sites... Since it's a cinematography lens, you may want to try one of those forums, instead of a photography forum.
I've seen in a few links similar lenses going for anywhere from $200-6000. They seemed to be different in that the front of the lens says the same thing but includes (35mm format) after the 3.9. Seems like this lens has several variations just from looking at the links. Cooke Cine Varotal Mk II 25-250mm zoom Lens T3.9
