treasure!

There is a little island close that I often walk on, last night we tried a new path...
The early had a lot of early settlers and there was a boarding house in the area. Lots of old glass and litter. People who walk in the area then to pick up the glass and put it on top of the boulders. I didn't move anything, I love oranges, so this caught my eye and played around a with some different setting....Taken between just a bit past 8pm when sunset was at 8:44pm. I'm leaning towards number one being my favorite.

The last was taken first, I do like it, but wanted the sharpness and bokeh that my 50mm 1.8 affords me and changes to it!

Thoughts?
CC?
Harsh realities?

Really like this concept!

Any suggestions for making it better?

If you had been able to shield the bright reflection off the glass shard in 4, it would have allowed you to compensate for the difficult metering situation. The suggested metering across the scene, due to allowances for the highlight, looks to me something like 0.7EV to 1.3EV underexposed. Shooting in NEF would allow you to correct easily that range, or alternatively use a tripod, as 1/20sec is already very slow for 200mm handheld.

I like the second one. Great effort on these images, it`s nice to see a variety on the same subject, and working on what looks best. While it is not a tough subject to shoot, it does show that you are seeing something, and that`s always a good thing.
