since your pics are okay to edit, here's what I did. bumped the brightness and contrast a bit, popped the saturation and put a vivid color filter and a cooling filter of the top

To be honest that looks so much worse than the original...

Could you explain what you mean by "The green channel is week(sic) and needs to be boosted..??" Do you mean green hue? - or luminosity?

Exposure seems fine to me - here is the pic corrected for WB...

well my pics are usually really contrasty and highly saturated. It's not for everyone. i pretty much fell in love with the way cross processing and lo-fi looks so I try to emulate it in my digital work.

but i'm still an amateur. any constructive criticism is helpful

How about this- a little pop and a little crop. 3 clannels layers, each with +30% on one channel and -15 on the other two, and a gentle s-curve on a "curves" layer...
