Photography noob here

Hey guys, I'm new here and to photography in general. I bought my first "real" camera a few weeks ago (Olympus E-PL5) and have shot with the 14-42mm kit lens so far. Tomorrow I'm going to head out and use my new Sigma 30mm. I've already made and corrected a lot of rookie mistakes (shooting in jpeg by accident because I didn't check my settings, shooting in 4:3 at first, boring beach photos, using my slightly loose half case on a tripod on a windy day, etc.). Here's a few pics. I still need to walk around the city and do some street shooting. Looks like I can learn a lot here about photography in general so I don't just buy a bunch of gear to take crappy photos with :lol:
