Picking favorites.. for competition= my nemesis

Alrighty.. So the college I attend is holding a student art show where I would like to submit 2 entries... trouble is they are due tomorrow, also trouble is I am lazy and am very uncritical about my work..

Thus I have resorted [unfortunately] to being one of those noobers who always posts a ton of images and asks, 'which is better' .. actually I can do one worse, I will include my flickr stream link and a few teaser shots.

Thus if any of you are bored out there, or feeling particularly generous or helpful if you could go through my stream and post your fav's that would be lovely. Thanks so much.

Oh and there is not really a theme that i know for the art show, I just need to find which pieces of my work that really stand out..

And please save the flaming, I already feel slightly moronic and lame for starting such a novice of a thread.. Oh and enjoy..

My thoughts....
1 - the shadow accross the building on the left of the image is distracting. For competition purposes I'd throw that one out for that reason.
2 - I like it....the lighting coming from the right and subtle shadows + DOF adds depth...I'd pick this as my #2 pick.
3 - Nothing special and just looks like a processed snap of a building/bush. Does nothing for me artistically.
4 - Very nice...VERY. The abstractness is awesome and the symmetry in the photo looks absolutely perfect (not easy to do). This is my #1 pick without hesitation.

I really thought 4 was very well done here and I think you have much stronger images on your flickr page than the others you've posted. I didn't have time to go through them all.

Which ones did you think are particularly stronger? Sometimes favorites can vary on people's styles and preferences (and I get personally attached to some images).. I would love if you could post, or at least name some of the stronger ones. I would really appreciate it.. thanks!

#2, and #4

While #4 is my favorite, #2 would be my first pick for a competition as images with people in them tend to please judges more then those that don't.

It's very common for judges to not be artist at all, and a non-artist/left brain person would not understand wtf you were trying to capture in the last image.
