Pics are grainy - Help

If the OP only wants help to get rid of the noisiness in these two particular photos, all he'd need to do is send them through NeatImage. That's a programme that can be downloaded (demo-version) for free (of course it can also be bought), and it's a noise reduction programme.

All other advice given for future photos is ok, and depending on the camera, ISO 400 is high already (for mine it would be, as mine ends at ISO 1600), but there are cameras out that go up to ISO 12800, so I hear, and for those "high ISO" might as well only start at ISO 800 or higher.

And while some replier's wording might not appeal to everyone here (though I think he put his thoughts nicely!), he is still right in what he says ... as is Harry.
