I'm having so much fun with Topaz Remax! I'm just playing around with some images. I'm thinking I don't even need to use my colored backdrops anymore because I can just do this in photoshop... what do you think? I don't really want it to look like a vignette.. i want it to kinda look like it was the actual background. Do you think people will be happy with this type of processing?

How long did it take? and he looks kind of floaty, that would be my only concern.

It took about a minute or two. I burned the floor a little on the original layer to bring out the shadows and to ground him. The gradient layer is on top around a 50- 75% opacity

I see posterization in the blues...rings of color...like you pushed the original image file a bit too hard. Have you printed this image out, to see if the background will print smoothly, or if there will be deliberate stops-and-starts where the values transition from one shade of blue to another?

Wow... looking closely I see it slightly. I haven't printed it out yet but I definitely will. Do you see thin rings? Because thats what i see.

Yes, the rings are many, and thin. Like tree growth rings.

I am guessing you mean the pattern on the wall, with it darker on one side.

Not sure if I'm a fan, really. I give you props for the idea.
