Was invited to Road America for the Porsche Club's track day today to take photos for the guy with the old 911 (top photo). Here's a couple I feel I can share.

My first impression seeing those shots? That's a damn good job of panning...excellent at blurring the landscape and creating a feeling of speed/movement while still keeping the subject (the 911) relatively in focus. Well done.

Thank you, folks! I've had some practice panning lately, and having a monopod with a ball head helps IMMENSELY.

Really like the first set! On the composite the only thing I found distracting was the spray around the rear wheel, something about it doesn't quite seem right.

That's because it was shot at a high shutter speed and the illusion of motion was added. I have no idea how to make the water appear to move. It was a fun little project, nothing worthy of a portfolio. I'll get better at these with practice.
