Puzzling

My wife likes to work jig-saw puzzles on her iPad, so I took a photograph of dandelions and ground ivy. (city-owned vacant lot)

I think images with repeating elements make interesting jig-saw puzzles.

Right! But those cost money.

look up dyi jigsaw puzzles online, or take an old puzzle, build it and then have the image drymounted to it and flip it over and cut it out with an exacto knife.

I mentioned Ravensburger because my wife buys only them. The cut edges of each piece are very clean and the finished puzzle holds together very well.

And that difference is greatly appreciated by puzzle aficionados. Wifey is into the electronic puzzles. I just give her a photograph and the puzzle software makes it a puzzle. There is one big annoying difference; the program cannot display the puzzle and the source photograph at the same time so she has to flip from one to the other occasionally. I probably should print my photograph on a sheet of paper for her.
