hey photog pals.
i recently acquired a SLIK U-112 from my local pawn shop. it was pretty cheap, and seemed sturdier than what i currently have. the quick release 'post' that you attach to the camera was missing, but they said the posts are available. so lastnight i went to my local cam shop, and he had the post i need.
it works like a charm except for one thing...when i go 90 degrees on the tripod for portrait orientation, the camera sorta "falls" so it points at the floor...in other words, the mounting system doesn't seem to keep the camera tight to the tripod...
anyone use SLIK tripods and understand what i mean?
if not, i could take pics to illustrate what im talking about...
any help would be appreciated (as of now i feel like i tossed $31 out the window)
thanks!
