Rain in the desert

Abiquiu, New Mexico. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to the schizophrenic nature of the weather in that part of the world, but it does makes things a bit more interesting (and challenging photographically) than what I'm used to.
Unsure if it's more suited to black-and-white (or the trash heap)..?

I would crop the image so that dark cloud at the top is cut off. Then the image would be more landscape shaped. The dark cloud at top is not necessary for the image.

I like the color better. Maybe even bump it up a bit, just a tad more purple and blue? It's a very pretty scene.

I agree 100% percent good shot though I like it.

I like the top image more than the B&W image, which doesn't really seem to grab my attention nearly as strongly as the color image.

Thanks very much for the input, guys. I'll try some cropping though for me it's still a toss-up between the black-and-white and color versions.

The color in the color version is so subtle it almost makes little difference between B&W and color.
