So my best friend and this girl started dating a few weeks ago and they asked me to take a "romance" picture with them so I took this picture

Please feel free to put up some of your own pictures to give me some ideas of new areas to shoot at or critique it, it will only make me better

I would crop off MOST of the right hand side of the picture...that dark, empty space is not helping much. Crop a little bit off of the top too. Bring the lower right hand corner in to just a little bit past his hand.

I agree with Derrel. With the heavy lean, the flow is moving left and the right space is wasted. The image could benefit from some additional light (or bring it out in processing).
