I'm on the fence regarding that bright, white, diagonal line across the floor.
Maybe some burning to lessen the impact?

I like it because it takes the viewer to the dark figures in the reflection, another less obvious part of the image.

I don't disagree. I just think it could be equally effective if it were less bright.
I'm not suggesting you get rid of it.

I actually feel that the section of the line that passes through the shadow on the floor is so contrasty as to prevent the eye from following the line all the way to the smaller reflections, thus defeating the purpose.
