Wondering how the origonal poster found the girls on facebook. are these girls that have never modeleed before and you getting them to model for you the very first time. or are these girls your happning to find on facebook who are allready modeling. whos pics you probalby saw on facebook that you conctacted. if thats the case he's kinda getting the models in the exact same way as you right? models work with as many photographers as they can stop worrying about where he gets his models from and just concentrating on doing a great job at doing tehre photos and treating them nice and they will work with you again.

I have nothing against networking... infact I am all for it. All I am saying is I go out and "network" at different locations to find these girls. I'm sure some have shot with different photographers. I don't own these girls but on the same hand I don't contact the girls my other photographer friends on facebook have shot with. There are a ton of girls out there so I go out and find them. Is not that big of a deal. I was just wondering if I do all my own leg work... why cant everyone else.

Why not let them decide? Tell him "sure, I'll let her know you're interested" ... next time you see 'your' model, give her his business card (or PM her on Facebook to let her know, whatever). She can look up his FB page/website for herself, decide if his work is something she'd like to be part of, and if she wants to work with him, she can reach out to him and let him know where she heard of him. That way, if it goes badly, you aren't on the hook for handing over her info; but if things go well, everyone comes out ahead.
And, if you see work of his that you like, with a model you don't know - you have a good 'in' to ask him to get you in contact with her in the same way.
He IS doing legwork, of a kind. He may be doing other methods as well, but you don't know about it since they don't involve you.
