I posted this in the critique section but didn't much responses, Just thought I post the same picture in here to see what you think.

The original was darker so I upped the contrast and brightness.

It looks a bit to dark to me. I can't really see his face very well. I think it would be pretty cool otherwise.

IMO it aint too dark, BUT it's too flat (the face), shadows could be darker or "white" areas brighter. nice capture

btw. if you've got ps cs you could try out "shadow/highlight".

I think the darkness must have been my monitor. It looks much better to me now, I can actually see the face. But needs a bit more contrast IMO.

Ok, thanks guys, I'll up the contrast, and try the shadow/highlight thing.

Edit: I'm guessing you mean photohshop, from when you said ps cs, not sure about the cs.
Edit2: I couldn't find the shadow/highlight thing.

Here's the same image but with the contrast upped, I like it better now. Even though it's dark, I think it works. But do your experienced eyes think so?
