Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I posted the original I did of this picture like 3 years ago. I always liked the shot, but didn't like the quality of it. I redid it recently. I posted this in another thread as an example of night photography, but I realize I hadn't posted it by itself yet.

Pardon the stupid watermark. I was rushing when I did that.

People often react to this shot very differently. Some say its peaceful, others (like myself) think it's kinda spooky.

C&C always appreciated, of course.

To my mind, this one's not spooky.
If "peaceful" is the word I'd use for how I feel this is is another question.
One thing I'd prefer, though, is not to see the two lights. If this had been mine, I think I'd have cropped them.

I say peaceful. =]

Beautiful shot. TFS!

Thanks! Thats +1 to peaceful. :)

I struggle with this... I agree with you. Not totally fond of the lights, but I generally try to keep it "standard picture shaped", which winds up forcing me to crop out a lot of details I'd prefer not to loose to the left and right of the statues. (the original print I have of the first attempt at this is like this... more cropped)

I suppose I should just give up on "picture shaped" on it and crop 'em out.

Thanks for your thoughts.
