Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
How do you deal with a spouse/partner who keeps borrowing your gear *LOL*?

More gear?

Switch to Canon...then they will no longer want to borrow your gear...

Switch to Canon and then I'll no longer want to use my gear.
In all seriousness, she switched from Canon to Nikon to share gear.
Have you compared a 5D Mk IV to a D850?
it's not even a close comparison.

Buy all new gear. If you have two of everything then there's no need to share. :p
but that was the whole idea: getting compatible gear so that we could reduce duplication ;)

Taking photos is something I can not persuade mine to do. I should be thankful though, 'cause when she uses a tool, she leaves it where she uses it instead of putting it back;)

Back-button AF control

However if she knows about how to use that, yeah you just need to buy every bit of kit twice!

So you have the same cameras so that you can share gear. :1219:
Now you complain that you two are sharing too much gear. :aufsmaul:

The only solution
Borrow her camera body :allteeth:
and misplace it (ie, hide it) .........
But don't allow her to borrow your camera body. :boogie:

Of course, that may only work for a short time as there are fixes to that scenario; some verbal :76: and others based on $$$. :icon_pissedoff:

She used it that way before I did. She shoots sports, I shoot portraits and products.

Two possible solutions:

1. Start borrowing her makeup.
2. Store your gear someplace out of her reach.

Single, never married. Besides, none of my last girlfriends wanted to borrow an old film camera.

update: one of her D810 is dying after reaching a shutter count of 300,000
There's this mad buzzing whinging sound when writing (sounds like a failing capacitor on the mainboard)
It had fried a couple of memory cards too.
Selling her my D810 plus battery grip *LOL*

She's not allowed to use my D850
