What's new

Stared with Canon EOS

I've seen the Canon Rebel line looked down on but like others have said, EOS applies to any and all current Canons including their very well respected professional lines.

So unless you want to switch to Nikon, you're not going to get away from an EOS. Yes, you can upgrade from the Rebel but why? The T3i only came out less than a year ago, and if you're new to photography, that's really quick to have outgrown that camera. If you have the money to burn, sink it into better lenses. Then when you're actually ready for a more advanced camera, you can upgrade your camera body and you'll already have great lenses to use with it.

We must've been posting at the same time. I didn't see your other post before I wrote this.

I'm glad you decided to go that route. I'm right there with you. I have the T2i and sometimes get a bee in my bonnet about wanting a full-frame but, really, my skills have not surpased the capabilities of the camera I have - yet. ;)

i think you should sell the t3i.

it's a terrible beginner body.

you will never be a good photographer until you get something that doesnt say rebel on it.

you should upgraded asap to a 60d or better.

and sell that crap t3i.

i'll give you 250 for it next week to help you out towards the next purchase.

:sexywink: i kid of course....

i'm hoping to get my hands on a t3i... but will likely end up settling for a t1i or XSi for the time being .. t3i is out of my budget.
