Also try to take as many of the formal shots at the beginning and when getting things planned out start with the largest group shot and widdle yer way down and let folks go as they finish the shoot. Kids are HARD to keep in order- be warned. Keep a cool head. If you have an assistant have he/she do all the talking and you just take the shots. I hope all goes well. I did my first in early August and they turned out fantastic.- luckily. If it's outside watch your light!!! The sun can be unforgiving. ALSO bring at least one backup camera kit(if you got a digital bring it too- great for candids), and saftey pins, clean wipes, comb, needle and thread, etc... that way if anything goes wrong you will be prepared.
