Stream at Torc Falls

Hello all, I am a novice and joined this forum to share pics and get feedback as most of you have as well.

I purchased a D600 last December and have been trying to get creative and learn to shoot.

This is one of my favorites at Torc Falls park in Ireland from this summer...

Meh.... it's landscape, the Landscape gallery seems appropriate. As far as the image, I think maybe cropping some of the bush away to make the water a more significant portion of the image would benefit.

agree with tirediron.
I feel like this photo is not about the water it's about greenery around the water.
Could you shoot this water from a lower angle and you and your camera moved to the right? make sure it's bigger in the frame next time

Not bad, looks a bit underexposed (dark image) and maybe, just maybe a bit over saturated as the greens look a bit too...green, if you know what I mean. To follow on from what the others have indicated, I would be tempted to crop a bit off both right and left sides and maybe off the top so that the falls is the main subject. HTH.

Not bad, looks a bit underexposed (dark image) and maybe, just maybe a bit over saturated as the greens look a bit too...green, if you know what I mean. To follow on from what the others have indicated, I would be tempted to crop a bit off both right and left sides and maybe off the top so that the falls is the main subject. HTH.

I agree that it's underexposed, I had 2 shots from this exact focal length. One was overexposed and this one. As for it being too green, using Lightroom the saturation was set to +5 but the vibrance +33. I cropped out the RH side and definitely get drawn into the water now.

Which version of Lightroom? How does it look if you tone down the vibrance to about 20 to 25? What was your Clarity setting? Would it help to tone that down a bit. Just curious, that's all.
