Went out in the nice weather today to try and get some real world shots with the 70-200 VR that I have borrowed. Apart from discovering using this lens with the older Nikkor 1.4 TC seems to lock the lens up and prevent it from autofocusing, its a joy to use. I think it'll be on my shopping list pretty soon. Anyway I thought I'd share my favourite picture from the day...

ehhhh this is lovely! I sooooo want dslr and a good lens...
 
Lovely shot. I really like the curve of the swan's neck, the shades of white you captured, and the splash of colour from the orange beak.
 
Great detail, I really like the color inside the curl of his neck.
